Terms of Use

By downloading or using GuitarTech, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. GuitarTech is developed and published by McCABE Technologies LLC ("McCABE Tech Labs," "we," or "us").

License

GuitarTech grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and the standard App Store license.

GuitarTech Pro subscription

GuitarTech Pro is an auto-renewing subscription available as a monthly or yearly plan. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before each period ends.

Free trial

If a free trial is offered and you accept it, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You can cancel during the trial to avoid being charged.

Managing your subscription

You can manage or cancel anytime in Settings ▸ your Apple ID ▸ Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Your gear values are estimates

Any values you enter or that the app displays are for your own record-keeping. They are estimates only and are not financial, tax, or insurance advice. Always confirm worth with a qualified appraiser or your insurer.

Your responsibility for your data

Your collection is stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups. We are not liable for data lost due to device failure, deletion, or uninstalling the app. Use the CSV export to keep your own copy.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuitarTech and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
